A Potpourri of Possibilities

I recently found two items that I love and seem to have glorious potential. The first I found at an antique boutique in Trolley Square. My favorite part is the Cardinal at the top (not only does it feed my love of all things ethereal but cardinals remind me of my mother). Plus, it's a shelf! Who couldn't use a little more storage space? Then earlier this week I was visiting the My Dough Girl cookie bakery (on 770 S 300 W, go if you're in the area. My favorite cookie is the Margo) to find a little birthday treat for a co-worker and I stopped in at one of my favorite places to peruse (also an antique boutique) and found the chair for quite a deal! It's as if it were made for my room. I plan on recovering the cushion with green upholstery fabric. I love making my own space feel fresh and cozy.
