Yesterday Carrie and Andrea Fox returned from a 2 week stint in Europe. I picked them up from the airport and laughed along to their entertaining stories. Carrie stayed the night with me before leaving this morning so she, Spencer, and I made red mashed potatoes, barbecue chicken and grilled zucchini on Carrie's spiffy new grill. Delicioso! After eating we spray painted t-shirts. Spencer and I are meeting his family in Moab tomorrow for some camping and I suggested we spray paint shirts just for kicks and GigGLeS. I've been itching to paint a new shirt for over a month! A trip to Moab seemed like the opportune excuse. The shirts turned out remarkably cool! I was really impressed. I shouldn't be so suprised since both Carrie and Spencer are artists but they really did a stand up job. I had the hardest time deciding what to do (I started over three different times). Finally something came to me and Carrie offered a few suggestions. It always feels good to create. It was intriguing to see how each person approaches and executes something like this. Each of our processes and concepts were very different. I can't wait to wear my shirt in Moab!

Oh, earlier this week I bought my first pair of Chacos!! I am so very satisfied. I've been wanting, and researching, and coveting for a few years but now I have my very own! I keep waiting to feel buyers remorse....but it hasn't set in and I am adamantly reassured by fellow Chaco wearers that it never will. My feet feel ready to take on anything nature has to offer. Happy trails (and happy feet)!
